I had the loaded potato with pulled pork at Sparks BBQ in Rexburg, and it was absolutely incredible. The potato was perfectly baked, fluffy on the inside with a crisp skin and absolutely packed with tender, flavorful pulled pork. Topped with cheese, green onions, sour cream, and their signature BBQ sauce, every bite was rich, smoky, and satisfying. Really happy these guys finally got a physical restaurant! It is a little on the pricier side for lunch/dinner but it’s good meat so can’t complain too much! My husband loves their beans and brisket, and I go for their turkey and Mac and cheese every time we eat here. I’m originally from Texas and the food satisfies my good southern cravings! M
the staff is so nice and have all the answers to your questions. the food was DELISH! the restaurant is clean and professional. prices are pretty reasonable for bbq and rexburg. highly recommend!
First time at Sparks and it was delicious! I got the loaded potato with brisket and it was so good!! My friend got the pulled pork sandwich and her exact words were “yummy yummy yummy tummy” (she’s 23)
The staff was really kind and helpful. It was our first time here. They explained everything to us. We came as a larger group and got the family pack large size. It was about 240 for the meal, but with our group, it averaged to be about 20 a person. It was plenty of food and tasted really good. The brisket and pulled pork was my favorite. I am not a mac and cheese guy, but it was actually really good here. The baked beans have a nice kick to them as well.
It was great. I went twice, getting brisket and sweet ribs both times. Good taste with little to no dryness. For sides I got street corn and coleslaw, beans and mac&cheese. They tasted good and the corn had a lil bit of heat. I am definitely going again.
This was the most delectable meal we have had in awhile! We got the elote nachos, sides: baked beans, corn bread, and mac n cheese. The Mac n cheese was soooo yummy and the cornbread was ABSOLUTELY HEAVENLY!!! We also got the key lime pie and it was delish!
I hadn’t been to Rexburg in a while, so it was a pleasant surprise to hear about a new barbecue restaurant. Sparks barbecue is great. I had ribs and pulled pork, with coleslaw and baked beans. Everything was great. My daughter had pulled pork, but was excited for their mac n cheese and cornbread. She loved them. Highly recommend.
